Feverfew is traditionally known as a powerful herb for head tension, especially for supporting those who experience migraines or hormonal headaches. It’s also been used to support inflammatory responses, promote circulation, and ease discomfort related to menstruation. This herb has a strong reputation in folk medicine for its “cooling” and calming properties.
How to Use:
Steep 1–2 tsp in hot water for 5–10 minutes. Use with other balancing herbs to reduce bitterness. Best taken regularly in small amounts over time for long-term support.
Can be used topically as well.
Sourced: North America
Precautions:
Feverfew is not recommended during pregnancy or for people allergic to plants in the daisy (Asteraceae) family.
It may interact with blood thinners and should not be taken immediately after stopping long-term use. Some people may experience mouth irritation when taken as a fresh infusion.
